About Us

My name is Peggy Hogan.

I love animals and have a passion for training. I currently own 5 minis, and 2 parrots. 

Learning from clicker trainers of other species, I investigated ways to add more shaping, capturing, luring, and targeting to my program. I experienced how horses would learn complex behaviors freely if given the choice. 

My recent exploration and contribution to the horse training world is teaching how choice, control and communication can even further benefit the lives of our horses with Start Buttons and Default Attention Behaviors.

I currently teach, give clinics internationally, offer online courses and generously share knowledge of Clicker Training. I'm thrilled to have been a speaker at Clicker Expo since 2013.

Since 2018 I have been teaming up with Monty Gwynne of Equispeak offering online clinics and webinars to better share this amazing technology with people in the horse community.
